Horley - Shopping around Horley

Been buying from the dealers represented by Sellingantiques for almost a year now and find them helpful and fairly good prices compared to some other places. Nice people to deal with and super selection and unlike other places no "Price on Application" nonsense.

The spa is small but gorgeous and more importantly well hidden from busy Gatwick. I discovered the Beauty Bar some time ago when working at the airport. If you are after treatment up to highest standard and service with passion, this place is for you. Last Thursday I had microdermabrasion and head massage. It was so relaxing and my skin looks great too. Thank you very much Kal - I will be back!

This is the perfect place to visit and have treatments whether you are a regular or jetting off somewhere nice! Situated in such a relaxing room even though the hotel is busy! Kal treats all her clients like proper V.I.P.s. and her knowledge is excellent!

Had a wonderful back massage and also manicure and pedicure all by Sophie. Was very relaxing and enjoyable. Will definitely book again soon. Thank you Sophie.

Double-check the prices of the items you're buying, I picked up a travel adapter that was advertised as £9.99 but when using the self-service it came up as £17.99. Be careful and double-check your items. All the small items are more expensive too, not reasonable prices lol

good for a quick grab and go, if you can use the self check out properly. Otherwise it’s a gamble whether staff are good or not to be honest. It isn’t too bad seeing as it’s in the airport.

Really good service from start to finish, Gary was able to see me within 48hours of my call and kept me informed on the day- the work was completed to a very high standard- the interior of my car looked like new after all the work was finished. Everything was explained fully and the tracking app was sent for me a few hours before Gary arrived. I would give 100% rating for this business- rolls Royce service and products- even though I don't have Roller!

Gary and the team did a fantastic job. My insurance company told me at 4.30pm on a Friday afternoon that unless I had tracker fitted to my new car once I'd taken delivery the next morning, it wouldn't be covered for theft! Auto Systems agreed to come out to me the next day and did a great job.

Best place to buy used cars!! Friendly, welcoming staff who know exactly what they're talking about! From calling up to enquire about the car to driving the car away I was confident in who I was buying from (you don't get that a lot these days). They even put it through an MOT before I collected the car (it passed with no advisories) and a bigger bonus 3 months warranty! Which I haven't needed yet but reassuring to know I have it. 5 star service all round. Will definitely be returning if I'm ever in need of a car. Thanks Shaun :)

We visited Shaun at Gatwick Car Sales, a small but welcoming independent site, where we were greeted by a friendly face upon arrival. He was very knowledgeable offering to help us with any questions we had and spending the time answering them. We initially felt drawn to one white ford S max car in particular, which Shaun immediately offered his advice and honesty around the vehicle, showing us around it and offering us a deal which we felt tempted by and felt he gave his best and more importantly most honest offer forward, no messing. We tested the vehicle and liked it He went above and beyond the service duty. When it was time to finally decide and commit. It was at this point that I cannot rate them high enough, for me being a indecisive person surrounding the purchase. He simplefied the whole deal guiding me through it and taking the stress out of buying the vehicle into a very pleasant and positive experience and one I will remember. Thank you again. It is the little things of value you receive here that don't always get a mention kindness, integrity, honesty, all with a pleasant price tag. How can you not afford that??? After reading the reviews on here I was hesitant about going to Horley Car Centre, but it shows that you shouldn't trust what everyone writes without knowing the full story. I couldn't have wished for a better experience when buying my car from Jeff. He is a lovely, genuine guy who was completely honest and open with me, even when I asked him about the review below. I am incredibly happy with my purchase from him, the car was in brilliant condition and I wouldn't hesitate about going back or recommending him to friends and family. Plus, I know that if I end up having any issues (which could happen no matter where you buy from) he'd be more than happy to help. Better service than you'd get from a Main Dealer! 5*!

I purchased a Mercedes from Horley car centre (the third car I have purchased from them) went to them as they have been in the same place with the same owner for 20 years. It was a smooth process from choosing the car to arranging the finance. Would highly recommend.

I want to say a big thank you to Shukhri the forecourt attendant who helped me with my tyres today. He sorted them out for me in less than 10 minutes so I did not incur fines others mentioned for overstaying. What a friendly and helpful man! As a female driver who is not that confident with cars I think having friendly attendants to assist is a great idea! Would be good to see more of these! Shukhri certainly deserves a pat on back or even a bonus!

Texaco petrol station with a fully functioning co-op mini supermarket as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent selection of products, food, drink, snacks, newspapers & magazines, etc. Even sells hot dogs in a warm oven counter for 2 quid each!

Great place for a pit stop. Customer service is at the top of their game. As soon as a que forms an employ opens a second till. This happened on a couple visits. This is a full service station and it is also a coop grocery store which is a bonus because they have great offers on everything.

A friendly, local bike shop. Not a large place but a fair number of bikes crammed into it. A limited range of helmets, clothing and accessories but you can get everything here. One of the few places that is happy to work on Chinese bikes. They always managed to patch up our son's Chinese scooter after his various incidents, collecting from our house if necessary. I bought myself a Peugeot scooter from here as my first bike and couldn't be happier with it.

Best place to go for all your bike needs,service, MOT. Even if you fancy a cuppa,join in...

I can't fault this place. I discovered them when I'd had a quote for an EGR replacement of £700 from Goodfellaz Autos in Crawley which I thought was too steep. AMK not only fitted me in the next day but did the same job for just over half that price. I now have my car serviced and MOT'd here every year. The service is excellent and the work is reasonably priced. At last a local garage I can trust to do the work well and not to rip me off!

Been going to riadh for 3 years with my little boy he won't let ne1 but riadh cut it he's so good with him from him sitting and cryin the whole way through to now not being able to shut him up.

The best barber in town in my opinion. Very friendly and really good with kids.

Fab baby shower, ideal venue for afternoon tea. Loved the opertunity to also purchase clothes/gifts for my baby & friends. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite brands. Shop is well lit and staff are friendly. Sadly, would be great if they had more mirrors in store.

Classy clobber for everyone: women men young and old. Prices are mid range for a designer label, however, the garments are high quality and very durable. I recently visited their Glasgow store during the fourth week of sales, I purchased a tshirt, hooded top and jumper for only £60.00! General comments about the staff and atmosphere. The staff are warm and friendly. They are also very helpful without being overly intrusive. I would highly recommend Jack Wills if you want to look good whilst saving your well earned cash! Students receive 10% discount on all non-sale items.

The shop will then overglaze your painting, fire it in their kiln and you pick it up the following week.

Very good family builders merchant I have been with them for over 30 years I am a very small decorating firm and they are all very helpful and very knowledgeable Anything I have needed to ask someone usually has the answer. They are also a building firm. Diyers should not hesitate to pop in as they can help you too Also a disabled friendly establishment I can't recommend enough

Originally I went to a large chain of builder store but it was closed! I ended up at The Hide as I remembered my Grandad used this small independent shop. I'm glad to say I ended up here, as it was the perfect place to get EVERYTHING I needed! The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, I was happy with each and every product I brought. Great quality and a personal touch of community friendliness while in there.(even when I managed to knock items from there shelves carrying my conduit through the shop) I would recommend The Hide to everyone regardless of any big chain of merchants being open. 5*****

You can for sure find an excellent super fast 50mm Full Frame for E-mount. I got helped by this employee which I accidentally captured with a beautiful defocus using this lens on my a6000. The person was so helpful and positive, I would buy the lens on the spot, but I resisted the impulsive purchase.

The ladies at Sweetpea were so helpful when we got flowers for my Mums funeral. The arrangements were beautiful, exactly what we asked for, even though what I wanted was not in any brochure. I watched a girl making up the word 'Love' in flowers. All very skilled and professional including delivering them all to the funeral directors. Wonderful.

Laura supplied me with some orange lilies as a gift for my wife and she absolutely loved them! I visited Boots today at approximately 18:30 to purchase some skin products. The woman who served me was ever so nice and exceptionally helpful. She went out of her way to help me and I also noticed that while she was helping me, she provided assistance to her colleague. She was very enthusiastic, helpful and knowledgeable. She provided an exceedingly high level of customer service.

I needed some prescription medication last minute as I headed out to Greece. The South Terminal Boots were there to help! They were helpful, resourceful and professional. They took my need for the medication seriously and made sure I got it. Thank you so much, it's lovely to come away feeling like they did the best job they could

Love this little garden centre with its very personal service. Has a small car park which can get crowded at busy times but the staff usually send someone out to direct things. They always carry to the car if needed. Variety of plants for all areas plus garden ornaments at reasonable prices. My go to shop for bird food.

Great garden centre. Always has good looking and tempting plants backed up with a good range of sundries and a few novelties. Phil the plant manager is full of knowledge, friendly and very helpful. I much prefer Burstow to its generic competition.

Thought I'd try using local shop as opposed to PetsatHome. Needed some advice on dog shampoos. Popped in with a new puppy and the lady was so welcoming and helpful. This is a very well run petrol station and small Sainsbury's. Plenty of parking if you don't need fuel and a good selection of groceries when you are not able to (or don't want) to go to a full size supermarket. Lunch deals for £3 are very good value (at time of writing). Friendly and helpful staff who keep the shelves stocked and looking tidy.

Local Sainsbury's and petrol pump as well. Good for quick shopping or to grab something to eat. Friendly and helpful staff. You can also get free air and water for your car.
