We recently started a business and needed an accountant to help us get things running from an accounting and tax angle. We were recommended West Sussex Accountants from a friend who also had a business. Based in Gatwick, they are very local to us and found Oliver Benton very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable with all things tax! He promptly replies to all our questions and I feel we can now run our business and focus on running this with confidence that West Sussex Accountants are taking care of the accounts and tax returns. They are doing our payroll, VAT returns, bookkeeping, statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax ..... basically the whole lot! Highly recommended. Superb service!

Construction of a new Garage and conversion of existing double garage into living accommodation. Excellent service , communication and quality. All delivered by an outstanding team of professional tradespeople who cared about their work and took pride in it. Programming and execution was excellent and the tireless efforts to keep the area clean and tidy was appreciated. Work was completed within timescale and completed to a very high standard, We are very delighted with the results which are applauded favorably by many. Our thanks to Warren and his team for an excellent job well done at a very fair price.

I have used WMD Building for multiple projects over the last few years. I have always been extremely impressed with the quality of work provided and the reasonable prices. The site is always clean and tidy, the work always completed to a high standard and communication is great throughout. WMD Building have a great reputation locally and were recommended to me by a close friend. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a good, honest building service.

Having read a lot of negative feedback, I thought it best to produce a positive review of my recent car hire experience. I was welcomed warmly at the Budget/Avis stand and was competently led through all the correct proceedings. The car was modern and well equipped and I had no problems throughout the rental period. Upon return of the car I attempted to fill up the petrol tank only to find that the car and pump at the petrol station would only allow me to put a very small amount in. The gauge still showed that it still was a quarter empty. This wasn't a problem however as the employee in charge of collections was happy with my story after I showed him the receipt. The return was easy and hassle-free and wasn't charged anything extra than I expected.

Charlotte was so helpful! I was stopping in the Marriot hotel when I had huge issues with another car hire company I’d used. They canceled my booking last minute and it was very stressful. I noticed thrifty in the hotel lobby and thought I’d speak to them about how to hire a car from them. Charlotte was on the desk and could not be more helpful. She sympathised with us a great deal and took the time to explain how to hire a car with Thrifty. She even spoke to use about what cars we prefer driving and which kind of transmission would work best for us. Within minutes, we was outside being handed the keys to our car. Charlotte even checked with us several times If we was happy with the car as it would be no trouble changing it! We was delighted with the car Charlotte offered us and away we went. Return was simple too, we simply handed the reception the keys and our deposit was returned within hours! It was such a relief compared to the nightmare we’ve been through with other company’s.... highly recommend, even if they’re slightly more expensive!

Choosing a rental car company at Gatwick posed to be a stressful exercise for us, as as everyone online seemed to have terrible reviews and horror stories. To throw a spanner into the works, a few companies were offering a temping 30 pounds for a weeks rental, but the voice inside my head kept insisting "there's a reason they're so cheap- you get what you pay for". In terms of hiring a car for a week including zero excess and full cover for piece of mind (a 1000 pound excess would be the result if anything did happen otherwise), Thrifty gave us the most competitive price from the big rental companies, and I'm really glad we went with them. Picking up the car was easy if a little slow as they were a bit busy, and although they are located in the Marriott Hotel, it was an easy 15 min walk to get there. The car was a near-new Citron C3 in immaculate condition and served us really well for the week. The team were very helpful, even when we rang up to extend our booking for a few days they were more than happy to accommodate. Upon returning the car, the team were helpful and the 250 pound deposit was refunded within a couple of days to my credit card. Overall, if you are looking or a reliable and (as far as I can tell) trustworthy company to hire a car from Gatwick, I'd recommend Thrifty.

It has been a few years since I have used Hertz - I normally hire through Europcar or Thrifty because I get a slightly cheaper deal through an arrangement with my employer. But, because unexpected events required I bring forward my existing Europcar booking by one day (albeit, the new booking was a Sunday) and the Europcar website was hopeless at changing a booking at short notice, I despaired, cancelled the Europcar and made a new booking through Hertz. Everything went perfectly (almost). The only downside was the long check-in queue at the pick up location (Marble Arch Edgware Road), but, because the overworked check-in staff were so apologetic and charming, all was good. My car was perfect for our needs (brand new - I was the first hire), we were provided with a complimentary, mobile, WiFi unit for the duration of our hire, and the drop off at Gatwick Airport South Terminal couldn't have been simpler (easy to find with good signposting as you enter the airport, prompt check-in by a roving staff member means you don't stand in a queue in the office, the drop off is a five minute walk from the lifts to the departures lounge). A very good experience overall: good website, helpful and courteous staff, good vehicle meeting all my needs. Sorry Europcar and Thrifty but I may no longer go for the cheapest price in future - above average customer service matters.

After a long time of searching for the right garage to repair an engine problem, I finally chose this garage- mainly because after speaking on the phone to several garages, this one just felt right, the gentleman I spoke to was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough, I had a good feeling and I am glad I did as I have now found myself a garage I trust and can go to in the future. I was slightly put off by the lack of the reviews but I noticed garages that had loads of reviews seemed to be mainly MOT reviews, and noticed that this garage might not of had a high quantity of reviews but the reviews they did have were quality reviews, so I took the plunge and went with my gut. My car had a suspected timing chain problem, a Peugeot 207cc with a mini engine inside, so quite a complicated job, but wasn’t too complicated for this company, my car was fixed within the week, at a reasonable price and to a high standard with quality parts, these guys take great pride in their work, I was shown the parts that were replaced and the gentleman explained what work was carried out and why and I was also given advice on how to take care of my car in the future. I am very very happy I chose this garage. And if you read this review and choose this garage, you’ll be happy you did, return the favour and leave them a review, reviews go a long way for a business, and also for people like me who read through reviews before making a choice! Was recommended this garage and they totally lived up their reputation. I was kept informed of the work and felt very satisfied with the service. Gethin was very personable and now won't be going anywhere else when it comes the rest of my cars mechanical needs, servicing and MOTs. High recommend.

I have used them on several occasions and have had excellent service. They have gone out of their way to assist me with my old Toyota in servicing, M.O.T. changing fuses, changing battery at my home and giving advice. Their charges are reasonable and always polite and helpful.

I can't fault this place. I discovered them when I'd had a quote for an EGR replacement of £700 from Goodfellaz Autos in Crawley which I thought was too steep. AMK not only fitted me in the next day but did the same job for just over half that price. I now have my car serviced and MOT'd here every year. The service is excellent and the work is reasonably priced. At last a local garage I can trust to do the work well and not to rip me off!

Best place to buy used cars!! Friendly, welcoming staff who know exactly what they're talking about! From calling up to enquire about the car to driving the car away I was confident in who I was buying from (you don't get that a lot these days). They even put it through an MOT before I collected the car (it passed with no advisories) and a bigger bonus 3 months warranty! Which I haven't needed yet but reassuring to know I have it. 5 star service all round. Will definitely be returning if I'm ever in need of a car. Thanks Shaun :)

We visited Shaun at Gatwick Car Sales, a small but welcoming independent site, where we were greeted by a friendly face upon arrival. He was very knowledgeable offering to help us with any questions we had and spending the time answering them. We initially felt drawn to one white ford S max car in particular, which Shaun immediately offered his advice and honesty around the vehicle, showing us around it and offering us a deal which we felt tempted by and felt he gave his best and more importantly most honest offer forward, no messing. We tested the vehicle and liked it He went above and beyond the service duty. When it was time to finally decide and commit. It was at this point that I cannot rate them high enough, for me being a indecisive person surrounding the purchase. He simplefied the whole deal guiding me through it and taking the stress out of buying the vehicle into a very pleasant and positive experience and one I will remember. Thank you again. It is the little things of value you receive here that don't always get a mention kindness, integrity, honesty, all with a pleasant price tag. How can you not afford that??? After reading the reviews on here I was hesitant about going to Horley Car Centre, but it shows that you shouldn't trust what everyone writes without knowing the full story. I couldn't have wished for a better experience when buying my car from Jeff. He is a lovely, genuine guy who was completely honest and open with me, even when I asked him about the review below. I am incredibly happy with my purchase from him, the car was in brilliant condition and I wouldn't hesitate about going back or recommending him to friends and family. Plus, I know that if I end up having any issues (which could happen no matter where you buy from) he'd be more than happy to help. Better service than you'd get from a Main Dealer! 5*!

I purchased a Mercedes from Horley car centre (the third car I have purchased from them) went to them as they have been in the same place with the same owner for 20 years. It was a smooth process from choosing the car to arranging the finance. Would highly recommend.

They say they will paint anything and they do!....a fantastic job was done on a 1964 Moulton bike frame, it went in rusted and pitted and came back smooth and shiny. i will be going back on other restoration projects.

I did not take out any of the extra insurance's offered and spend the whole time stressed that if I marked the car to the size of a 2pence pice I would be charged £1000 regardless of blame. Windscreen chip £1000 charge ! what. Car dented in a carpark £1000. Staff we friendly and located in airport is perfect.Car supplied was smaller than I had ordered.

Great deals and usually good service. Just read their T&Cs and follow it closely and they'll deliver their end of the bargain. Any deviations may cost you! Be warned. That said, I am a regular customer, new cars, fair prices. Location is a bit far off from the airport but the shuttle service is dependable. Rating 4 stars because on all occasions, waiting times have been long, wish they'd be quicker. Recommended.

Reasonable prices for a good car. Definitely need to work on their collection and drop off processes though. Took forever to get the car, for no clear reason, then a long wait for the shuttle after returning Shuttle van was sitting waiting instead of just going, despite a full load of passengers, because "They have a schedule, sir". If every van just left when full they could probably run twice as frequently with the existing staff. No issues during the rental, but we were very conscious of the reviews we've seen about the company's strict policies toward damage and so on.

Really good service from start to finish, Gary was able to see me within 48hours of my call and kept me informed on the day- the work was completed to a very high standard- the interior of my car looked like new after all the work was finished. Everything was explained fully and the tracking app was sent for me a few hours before Gary arrived. I would give 100% rating for this business- rolls Royce service and products- even though I don't have Roller!

Gary and the team did a fantastic job. My insurance company told me at 4.30pm on a Friday afternoon that unless I had tracker fitted to my new car once I'd taken delivery the next morning, it wouldn't be covered for theft! Auto Systems agreed to come out to me the next day and did a great job.

We have never had any problems with Summer Special Parking, prompt service, friendly staff fingers crossed for this September.

Arrived on St George day. It was very busy in Horley. The staffs were very at ease and was shown to our table with a smile and very polite. Breakfast was nice and freshly cook. Arabic Coffee was nice and strong how I like it. Price was reasonable. Which is normal in Horley. I was to thanks the staff for making ourself welcome.

Holmbush Centre. Never seen seem to have much variety at this one. Whether it's because 'once it's gone it's gone' because of having a MacDonalds and M&S cafe so close by or because they are so popular who knows. Always a nice cup of tea though!

Very helpful personal

Both Chris and James worked their upmost to assist me in looking for a property to rent. They show an empathy and helpful attidude that is hard to find in some estate agents. I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking for a rental property !

The arrangements were professionally carried out, , The florist went to endless trouble to obtain flowers that I particularly wanted on the coffin. The only downside to the event was the webcast of the cremation service, I asked for a webcast to enable family living in the USA and Australia to see the cremation ceremony in their own time. The picture quality was good, but of rather small size, the music was well recorded, but the spoken word from both lecterns was inaudible. There were three eulogies read out during the ceremony and none of them were clear. My opinion is that the microphones were either of poor quality or the amplification equipment needed adjustment. This has resulted in my having to send hard copies of each eulogy to family overseas and to some of the congregation who also had problems hearing the spoken word within the chapel.

Our beautiful mum passed away last October. We actually dealt with Karen who was covering at the Crawley branch. I am in the medical field and up to that point in my life I had never met someone as kind and compassionate. I know you have to be a certain person to be a Funeral Director but Karen you truly are a huge asset to such a tender business. Thank you for your kindness, compassion and professionalism for looking after our mum's final wishes.

Love this little garden centre with its very personal service. Has a small car park which can get crowded at busy times but the staff usually send someone out to direct things. They always carry to the car if needed. Variety of plants for all areas plus garden ornaments at reasonable prices. My go to shop for bird food.

We have used Cardales for over 15 years and they look after our insurance for our cars,our offices and our houses. They are incredibly helpful,professional and nothing is too much trouble. Things do go wrong and when they do Cardales have been really sympathetic,responsive and efficient. We are very very pleased with their customer service.

1st time leaving my Dog with John and Jackie. Great location and loads off room for you dog to enjoy. Updates on there stay to see how there getting along. Usually desperate to get in the car from the kennels but this time I think he was happy to stay a bit longer. Highly reckommended.

Really Freindly and not that expensive!

No idea where previous review got their ideas. Thornbridge do not offer a collection or delivery service, so it couldn't have been them, and our dogs are always cared for with the utmost care and love. Spotlessly clean when picked up and in the best of health. They do not take unvaccinated dogs into their kennels.

I do a lot of work for various companies in regards to Design Strategies, Branding and Design for Start-ups, but I've not taken the best care of the value of my own brand. I wanted to reach the next tier of global clients and to do that I had to up my game across all of my marketing material, current client base and portfolio. I met with Barney, liked his gallery and his ideas and we organised a photo shoot that was not only well explained every step of the way, but he encouraged me to see possible shots in the location that I might like and made the whole event a fun one. I highly recommend Barney to anyone wanting this level of care and service.

Barney was fantastic as our wedding photographer in April 2018. He was incredibly professional, funny and calm throughout the day, which really helped us stay relaxed too! Barney got all the shots that we asked for, as well as some photos that I wasn’t even aware that he was taking but captured some lovely moments from the day. He was fantastic at staying in touch before the wedding and making sure that he had all the information he needed for the day and also kept us informed with updates after the wedding of when our photos would be ready. We are absolutely thrilled with the end of photos and have had so many people comment on how beautiful the photos are. Thank you so much Barney!

We needed various safety signs and such so we decided to give EC Signs a call, we managed to get everything we needed at a great price and they all arrived in perfect condition, we highly recommend EC Signs.

Team of three guys - all very polite, helpful and efficient. Good natured banter between them which made the move light hearted and they obviously work well together. The move was executed effortlessly and quickly and they were thorough in making sure furniture was placed where I wanted it. One suggestion ... that they carry some basic tools with them - they had to borrow my screwdrivers to take a door off the hinges - luckily they weren't packed! Have used ASD Harrison twice now and would thoroughly recommend.

We used these guys when we needed storage for a house renovation project. From start to finish they have been nothing but helpful. The site is well situated, modern and secure. This is a nice enough Chinese takeaway, but the prices are quite high compared to other places in Horley. We have also had takeaway from here in the past that has suffered from the taste of old oil in the deep fried elements, which is very off putting and a flavour i personally cant stand, so ended up not eating part of our food.

Lovely food all freshly prepared unlike some of the other take away in the area, by far the best Chinese in Horley.

It was our first time in London and we checked ahead for a taxi to Paddington for a family of 5. They said, just come and we'll have a taxi. And it was as promised. Price for 5 was approximately as with other taxis we checked, as well as the train option. We filled a form for a return taxi (with a 20 pounds discount). We double checked that the return taxi was booked correctly (I had unanswered calls I could not return to and feared of problems) and they even knew I already checked. The return taxi was early. Both drivers (Ben to London and Ian to Gatwick) were very talkative and informative. I have already passed personal recommendations to my family who will visit London soon. Cheers!
